LEGENDARY COMEDY IMPRESSIONIST FRANK CALIENDO AT TAHOE’S MONTBLEU, JULY 19
For Immediate ReleaseThu, Jul 17, 2014
One of the nation’s most recognized comedy impressionists, Frank Caliendo, will bring his voice antics to Lake Tahoe, July 19 for a one night only show at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa www.montbleuresort.com.
Sure to bring his ESPN and Fox NFL Sunday ribbing of John Madden and Terry Bradshaw to center stage, Caliendo’s appearance comes as dozens of sports stars and celebrities are at Lake Tahoe for the American Century Championship, July 15-20 at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.
The show begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $54.50 and $64.50 and go on sale beginning May 7 through XX or by calling the MontBleu Box Office at (888) 829-7630.
The former MADtv funnyman’s career began in the 1990s with high-energy performances that blended observations, impressions, characters, and anecdotal stories. He’s been featured regularly on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Late Show with David Letterman and has current segments on ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown.
Described by the Hollywood Reporter as “a combination of Robin Williams and Jim Carrey,” Caliendo has an uncanny knack for spot on impressions of today’s most well-known athletes, commentators, politicians, and Hollywood celebrities.
Sports stars and announcers such as Charles Barkley, Bill Walton, John Gruden, Herm Edwards, Jerry Jones, Jim Rome, and actors Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are among his most notable characters.
Caliendo’s impression of President George W. Bush even earned him an invitation to perform during the 2006 annual White House Correspondents Dinner.
